1 Product introduction


The ED-8000 V400 version locator is a high-performance electronic marker locactor that integrates multiple frequencies, multiple ID marker modulation modes, automatic sensitivity adjustment, and read-write marker. It has extremely high sensitivity, but also has good noise suppression ability, which is not only suitable for professional surveyors, but can also be easily mastered by ordinary operators.

3 Product features  



1). Support analog (No ID) electronic marker signal detection, support all mainstream underground electronic marker operating frequencies internationally, for signal detection and depth measurement;
2). Through a combination of technologies such as phase-locked amplification, multiple filtering, High and low sensitivity adjustment, it effectively suppresses environmental noise while increasing detection depth, providing operators with a simple and intuitive user experience;
3). Support programmable electronic markers, by presetting ID numbers in the marker chip and associating them with cloud databases, to achieve storage and querying of marking information, including but not limited to: burial date, construction personnel, type and specifications of the identified object (valve, joint...), coordinates of marking points, pictures before covering soil, etc ;
4). For scenarios that are not suitable for cloud data customers, such as remote areas with poor wireless data signals, or situations where it is inconvenient to store marking information in a database due to data security , simple information such as the type and specifications of the identified object can be directly written into the internal chip of the marker;
5). The ED-8000 can flexibly select RFID mode:

RFID Off mode: only detect the electromagnetic induction signal of underground electronic marker without RFID decoding. It has fast response speed and is compatible with underground electronic markers with the same frequency produced by different manufacturers, including ID or Non ID markers;
RFID Auto mode: in the default working state, only the induction signal of underground electronic marker is detected without real-time RFID decoding. It has fast response speed and is compatible with underground electronic markers with the same frequency produced by different manufacturers, including ID or Non ID markers. Decoding will not be performed until the depth button is pressed;
RFID ON mode: RFID decodes in real time and sends out prompt tone and signal strength information only when the ID marker is found. This can completely shield the influence of interference signals;


6). It has an optional android app. In the installation stage of underground electronic marker, there is no need to carry the locator. Only any mobile phone with Android OS can complete the input and upload of identification point information by scanning the bar code on the marker;
7). The V500 version of ED8000  is equipped with a meter level build-in GPS chip. After detecting an electronic marker, the built-in GPS function can be selected to obtain latitude, longitude, and synchronized satellite reference time information. The positioning information, reference time information, and marking information (ID, depth, etc.) can be associated and cached in the locator's memory. The maximum local cache information is 9000 pieces (cyclic coverage storage), which can be recorded through the Bluetooth interface Export CSV format file to PC, the stored content includes:

8). If higher positioning accuracy is required, RTK terminals can be connected to the accompanying mobile app to collect positioning information and achieve centimeter level identification point positioning accuracy. Currently, currently, only RTK devices from some manufacturers are supported;
9). 192 × 96 dot matrix high-resolution display screen;
10). There are 1/4 ports on both sides of the screen, which can be used to hold the side of the locator screen according to the habits of the left and right hands, facilitating the interaction between the locator and the mobile app;
11). Supports 3.5mm mono headphone jack;
12). Support detachable base with expansion socket, reserved for cable route detection module (in road-map);
